Safe Mode usually happens for Android tablets and is caused by the security bracket pressing down on the volume-down key AND the device is restarted. Below is how it looks like:

To fix this, adjust the grip of bracket to the device so that it is no longer pressing down on the volume key, and then restart the device. To restart an android tablet, simply press and hold the power button until a pop up appears, choose "Restart".
