Zipline Kiosk Check-In Not Syncing to Timesheets

Zipline integrates with rostering systems such as Humanforce. When an employee checks in or out via a Zipline kiosk, these records are sent to the rostering system to populate timesheets using the Employee ID as the unique identifier.

If an employee can successfully check in and out on the kiosk but their timesheet is not syncing, please check the following:

  • The staff profile in Zipline is Active (not archived).

  • The Employee ID is correct and added to the Integration ID field (this shouldn't be blank).

  • The phone number is correct and is actually the one used by the staff member.

  • The Employee ID and phone number in Zipline exactly match what is in the rostering system.

If any of the above do not match, the integration will fail, and the timesheet will not sync.

How to view/update a staff member's details in Zipline

  1. Go to People β†’ Staff

  2. Search for the staff member

  3. Click View

  4. Open Personal Details

  5. Update the Integration ID field with the correct Employee ID

  6. Confirm the phone number matches the rostering system

πŸ’‘ Pro tip: If the edit buttons are disabled, the profile is likely archived. Switch to the Options tab and then click Unarchive:
