What is CX?

Your Customer Experience Score or CX Score is a number on a 0 to 10 point scale to help you understand your overall customer experience โ€“ the closer to 10, the better you are doing! The very first screen customers see when interacting with a RateIt device consists of four smileys (Awesome, Good, Not Great, Awful) and typically a question like โ€œHow did we do today?โ€

Each smiley is given a weighting that represents the customers experience:

Your CX Score is calculated by a weighted average, using the point value for each smiley:

As an example, if you received 5 customer ratings where 3 customers scored you Awesome, 1 scored you Not Great, and 1 scored you Awful your CX score would be:
