The Ongoing Compliance Email Reports feature helps managers stay on top of their reports' ongoing compliance checks — even if they don’t log into Zipline. If this feature is enabled, managers automatically receive a weekly email summarising their team’s upcoming and overdue compliance items, ensuring no important deadlines are missed.

🕒 Automated Weekly Delivery

Each Monday at 8:00 AM (AEST), managers receive an email report. This summary includes:

  • All outstanding checks for their direct reports.

  • Checks due within 90 days or already overdue.

This ensures managers only see actionable items — checks that need attention soon or are already past due.

💡 The email is scoped to only the manager’s direct reports, helping keep the information relevant and focused.

📬 Report Details

Each check listed in the report includes key information:

  • Check Display Name

  • External ID 1 (unique identifier for each worker from your system or integration)

  • Current Check Status (simplified):

In Progress

This simplification makes it easier for managers to quickly assess what’s outstanding or needs follow-up, without in-depth knowledge of Zipline.

🧑‍💼 Manager Email Storage

Every worker can have an optional Manager Email stored in their profile, which needs to be passed through by your integrated HRIS.

  • The Manager field is stored as an email address.

  • Managers do not need a Zipline account — reports are sent directly to their email.

  • This helps with scenarios where some compliance oversight is handled outside the platform.

🧪 Manual Trigger Available for Testing

Zipline Developers can manually trigger a manager’s email report for testing or debugging, using the function triggerManagerReportEmail(managerEmail, overrideEmail?)

  • managerEmail: the manager whose team data should be scoped.

  • overrideEmail (optional): specify a different address to send the test report.

Please contact the Zipline team for help with this before your launch.

🕵️‍♂️ Troubleshooting

For issues such as incorrect manager-worker mappings, please direct your query to the your HRIS Administrator to see if the HRIS information is correct. The source will need to be fixed to in turn inform Zipline.
