Document Cross-Fill is a feature that saves time by automatically reusing uploaded documents for multiple checks. Instead of uploading the same document again and again, the system detects if a document can also be applied to other outstanding checks and fills them in for you.

How it Works

When an admin user or worker uploads a document (like a driver’s licence or passport), the platform determines if it can also satisfy other checks. If so, it will automatically attach it to those checks.

For example:

  • A passport can be used for both Commencement of Identity and Visa Check requirements.

  • A driver’s licence can be used for both Primary ID and Driver’s Licence requirements.

This works across both Applications and Ongoing Compliance.

Which Documents Cross-Fill Where

Here are the current rules for cross-filling:

  • Passport, Birth Certificate, or Citizenship Certificate

    → Commencement of Identity

    → Visa Check

  • Driver’s Licence (front only, front + back, or learner’s permit)

    → Primary ID

    → Driver’s Licence

  • VEVO Certificate (admin upload only)

    → Commencement of Identity

    → Visa Check

  • Marriage Certificate or Change of Name Certificate

    → Name Change ID

    → Commencement of Identity

    → Primary ID

    → Secondary ID

    → Visa Check

    → Driver’s Licence

Notes

  • Cross-fill happens automatically once the feature is enabled in General Settings.

  • Some older setups may still display “Document Cross-Fill (Legacy)” in the Hacks section — this was for early vaccination compliance and works differently.

  • Cross-filling rules are not customisable.
